Welcome Class
The Gail McKay College Readiness program will start with a welcome class. This welcome class will give students and parents the opportunity to understand the entire program, learn about our history, speak to former college graduates and an opportunity to ask more questions.
College visit
The Gail McKay Foundation will provide and fund bus trips to the colleges and universities in the local area which will give students the opportunity to speak to financial aid, advisors and experience first hand; campus life, dorms, and other extracurricular activities for a well rounded college career.
Cultural tour
The foundation believes it’s important for students to have an understanding of various cultures and social groups. It’s important for students to have a connection from their lives and the lives of their peers. The foundation will provide a bus trip to a cultural event so students can experience other cultures.
2nd college visit
